Marshall Middle College group wins science bowl competitors

North Allegheny came in a single-two in the 32nd Western Pennsylvania Science Bowl middle college competitors on March four.

North Allegheny’s Marshall Middle College Group 1, consisting of Kavin Puri, Aaron Liu, Suraj Raina, Lucas Liu and Hongyi Wang captured very first spot.

Taking second spot was North Allegheny’s Ingomar Middle College Group 1 — Sanjeev Arora, Alex Du, Benjamin Du, Kaartic Muralidharan and Eric Peng.

Twenty-5 teams competed in the occasion, sponsored by the U.S. Division of Power and the National Power Technologies Laboratory.

Teams did not play head-to-head matches but competed against all other teams in a virtual competitors. Regional competitions had at least 3 preliminary rounds in which every single person group was study the similar sets of concerns. The teams with the highest combined point totals from all preliminary rounds sophisticated to the elimination tournament.
