Jenna Ortega’s departure from ‘Jurassic World: Chaos Theory’ confirmed in trailer

The official trailer for Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, the animated sequel series to Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, has been released by Netflix. One notable absence from the voice cast is Jenna Ortega, who portrayed Brooklynn in Camp Cretaceous and will not be returning for Chaos Theory.

The new series begins with Brooklynn appearing to be killed in a dinosaur attack, putting the other members of the Nublar Six in danger. The teaser trailer and first-look images were revealed during Netflix Geeked Week.

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is set to premiere in 2024 and explores a new era of chaos after the park has closed and the kingdom has fallen. DreamWorks Animation Television and Amblin Entertainment developed the series, with Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley serving as executive producers and showrunners. Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, and Frank Marshall are also on board as executive producers. DreamWorks Animation handles the animation, while Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment produce the series.

In the original Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, dinosaur enthusiast Darius Bowman visits Camp Cretaceous only for dinosaurs to escape and wreak havoc on screen as seen in previous Jurassic movies.
