Jefferson City baseball victorious on Blair Oaks’ senior night | High School Sports

The Jefferson City Jays emerged victorious in their game against the Blair Oaks Falcons on Monday night, winning with a score of 3-2. The game took place at Blair Oaks’ High School, where the two teams battled it out on the field.

Blair Oaks was the first to score in the bottom of the third inning, with freshman Vander Halford leading the charge by scoring junior Evan McCullough. The Falcons managed to widen their lead thanks to a balk from the Jays’ pitcher, giving them a 2-0 advantage.

However, the Jays fought back in the top of the fourth inning, scoring three runs to take the lead. Junior Adam Scheperle, sophomore Ryan Meyer, and senior Ryan Tadsen were instrumental in helping the Jays edge ahead. After that, neither team was able to score any more runs for the rest of the game.

In their next matchup, Blair Oaks will face Hallsville back at home on Tuesday, while Jefferson City will have a home game against Father Tolton on the same day. Both teams will be looking to carry on their momentum from this game into their upcoming matchups.
