Israel strikes multiple Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon

On Tuesday, the Israeli Army conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah militant targets in southern Lebanon. The bombings took place in Kafarkila and Al Khiam, resulting in no reported casualties. According to a statement on the IDF website, combat aircraft targeted these areas as part of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, which has been going on for nearly seven months following attacks by Hamas.

The Israeli Army also fired two anti-tank missiles towards Merhav Dov in northern Lebanon, but they hit open spaces without causing any casualties or damage. The IDF confirmed that they retaliated against the sources of these missile attacks.

The clashes between Israel and Hezbollah have been ongoing since October 8th, with significant political influence from Iran. These tensions began a day after Hamas launched attacks on Israeli territory that resulted in numerous casualties and kidnappings according to Israeli authorities.
