Review of Hyundai Kona Road Trip: What We Loved and Loathed.

My friend recently called me for advice on a safe but not too large car for his teenage sons. As I was looking for the same thing for my college-bound daughter, I decided to test drive the 2024 Hyundai Kona from Silicon Valley to Santa Barbara to see if it would be a good fit.

Our main criteria were safety for young drivers and the size of the vehicle in case of an accident. During our journey, we got to experience firsthand the great features of this vehicle. The Limited AWD version we drove cost $34,695, which included freight and handling. This price was for a model that came with many impressive features such as ventilated seats, a Bose speaker system, and stylish wheels. For those looking for a more affordable option, the SE model is priced at around $25,000 but lacks some of the top safety features found in the Limited AWD version.

While the Limited AWD version may be pricier, it may still be worth considering due to its many impressive features. The SE model may be a better deal for some as it is about $10,000 cheaper and still retains many of the great features of the more expensive version. Additionally, this vehicle is available for leasing, making it an affordable way to drive this vehicle without committing to buying it outright.

Overall, after our journey with the 2024 Hyundai Kona Limited AWD edition, we can confidently say that it is a great car that meets all our safety and size requirements while also offering many impressive features at an affordable price point or through leasing options.
