Hamas spokesperson: “After a two-day wait for the Israeli delegation, we left Cairo”

Hamas delegation member blames Benjamin Netanyahu for lack of progress in Cairo negotiations

A Hamas delegation member who attended the negotiations in Cairo recently blamed Benjamin Netanyahu for the lack of progress made during the talks. In an interview with Saudi TV channel Al-Sharak, the member emphasized that the Islamic Resistance Movement is prepared to return to the negotiating table if a second party appears. The delegate stated that they did not withdraw from the negotiations or reject the Egyptian mediators, and they waited for two days in Cairo for Israeli delegation but they did not show up.

The Hamas representative expressed that their movement is interested in reaching an agreement and is willing to continue negotiations. They mentioned that Hamas has proposed its own ideas on certain points of the agreement and is awaiting a clear response from Israel’s side. The delegate also commented that Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements have increased suspicions that his true intentions are to continue the war. However, there is still a possibility of reaching an agreement if both parties are serious about making it happen.

In conclusion, despite some setbacks, Hamas remains committed to finding a peaceful solution to its conflict with Israel through negotiations. The movement believes that by working together with other parties involved and being open to compromise, it can achieve its goals and bring stability to the region.
