Bangladeshi Cricketer Shakib Al Hasan, World’s Top All-rounder, Caught on Tape Assaulting Fan Seeking Selfie. Video Goes Viral.

Cricketer Shakib Al Hasan is widely regarded as one of the best players in Bangladesh’s cricket team. With a remarkable record in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is, he has earned the title of world No. 1 all-rounder in T20Is. However, his off-field activities have also caught the attention of many.

One such incident took place during a Dhaka Premier League match between Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club and Prime Bank Cricket Club. A fan approached Shakib for a selfie before a match against Prime Bank Cricket Club, but this request angered the cricketer. Despite initially refusing, Shakib eventually grabbed the man by the neck and almost beat him up.

Despite the controversy surrounding him, Shakib has expressed his dissatisfaction with Bangladesh’s preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup in 2024. While he acknowledges that their performance in the previous World Cup was reasonable enough, he believes they could do better with better preparation. In an effort to adapt to the conditions of the USA, where the tournament will be held, Bangladesh is playing a series against the USA. Although Shakib recognizes the importance of getting accustomed to these conditions, he also acknowledges that it may not be ideal preparation for the tournament.

Overall, Shakib’s on-field performance has been impressive throughout his career, but off-field incidents have raised concerns about his behavior and integrity as a player. It remains to be seen how he will address these issues moving forward and whether they will impact his ability to perform at his best on the field for Bangladesh.
