Neha Moolchandani is a computer science major at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She originally came on the pre-medical track, but later discovered her passion for technology, robotics, machine learning, and AI. This prompted her to switch her major to computer science. Alongside her studies in computer science, she has concentrated in mathematics and information systems through the Collat School of Business.

Moolchandani has held several internships at Amazon, where she excelled in data analysis, project management, business development, and application building to ensure efficiency. In addition to her academic achievements and professional experience, Moolchandani has taken on leadership roles on campus. She served as president of the Society for Women Engineers and co-founder of the Association for Computing Machinery. She also worked as a student adviser and teaching assistant for computer science and an Honors Ambassador.

Apart from her academic pursuits and leadership roles, Moolchandani is also a talented DJ who showcases her passion for technology and music. After graduating from UAB this spring, Moolchandani has been actively pursuing opportunities with major tech companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Google. She has accepted a position with Amazon and will be relocating to Nashville, Tennessee to begin working full-time. Her dedication to both her academic and extracurricular pursuits has set her on a successful path in the tech industry.
