In the upcoming Captain America film, Joaquín Torres, played by Danny Ramirez, will take on the role of Falcon after Sam Wilson passes him his damaged wings in the second-to-last episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series. Ramirez was first seen as Torres in this series on Disney+, but his transformation into the MCU’s new Falcon is sure to excite fans.
A Twitter user shared a photo of a McDonald’s tie-in poster featuring Ramirez as the new Falcon. He is dressed in a green suit to match the comic book version of the character, along with a helmet and mechanical wings. The poster also hints at a transformation for Thaddeus Ross, who will be seen in various minifigures including two versions of Captain America and Red Hulk.
The movie will see Falcon and the Star-Spangled Avenger facing off against Red Hulk. Marvel Studios shared the first footage of Captain America: Brave New World at CinemaCon 2024, but details about the plot are still largely unknown. However, it is known that Captain America: Brave New World is set to release in theaters on February 14, 2025, as part of the upcoming wave of MCU films following Deadpool & Wolverine.
