Annual Science and Math Night showcases Jonesville students’ talents in STEM disciplines

The annual Science and Math night at Williams Elementary School in Jonesville was a huge success on April 25. Hundreds of students and their families gathered to engage in various STEM activities, including science, technology, engineering, and math. Participants indulged in pizza while exploring different stations set up by the community, teachers, and students from the National Honor Society.

One of the highlights of the night was Camp Michindoh, which allowed visitors to interact with different species of animals. This experience was a major draw for many attendees. Additionally, the Jonesville Middle and High School robotics teams showcased their robots and coding skills, giving elementary-age students a glimpse into the world of robotic coding and how it translates into action.

The annual Science and Math night is an educational opportunity for families to come together outside of the typical classroom setting. This event has been a longstanding tradition in Jonesville, enjoyed by thousands of students throughout the years.
