Four players released by Eagles – Yahoo Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles recently drafted nine players in Detroit and are also planning to sign some undrafted players. In order to make room for these newcomers on the roster, the team made a series of roster moves on Monday.

According to the NFL’s daily transaction report, the Eagles have waived defensive tackle Noah Elliss, wide receiver Griffin Hebert, defensive back Tiawan Mullen, and offensive lineman Lecitus Smith. Additionally, the team officially announced the signing of tackle Mekhi Becton.

Of the players who were released, only Lecitus Smith has regular season experience with the Cardinals in 2022. He appeared in 10 games and made two starts.

The Eagles will be holding their rookie minicamp this weekend where they will have their first opportunity to work with this year’s rookie class. Further roster moves could potentially be made following this event as the team continues to shape their roster for the upcoming season.
