A New Champion – The World’s Best Airports Have Been Revealed, With Singapore’s Changi Losing Its Crown

The Skytrax World Airport Awards have been determined by customer satisfaction survey results for the past decade. In recent years, Doha’s Hamad International and Singapore Changi have been in a fierce competition to be crowned as the world’s best airport. However, this year, the title went to a different airport – Seoul Incheon.

Singapore was edged out of the top spot by its Middle Eastern rival, Hamad International Airport, in the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2024. Seoul Incheon also won the title of 2024’s most family-friendly airport. Tokyo’s Haneda and Narita airports claimed the fourth and fifth spots, respectively.

Hong Kong airport made a massive jump of 22 positions to 11th place after passenger numbers increased following the Covid-19 pandemic. US airports continued to struggle with their rankings, with Seattle-Tacoma being the highest-ranked US airport at 24th place, slipping six spots.
