The Kentucky Science Trail is a new initiative launched by the Kentucky Academy of Science (KAS) that highlights the natural and technological marvels of the state. This trail features over 70 science attractions spread across Kentucky, including museums, observatories, engineering wonders, geological tours, animal sanctuaries, nature preserves, botanical gardens, educational centers and more.

Amanda Fuller, Executive Director of KAS, emphasized the importance of showcasing these attractions to encourage families and individuals to explore them and cultivate curiosity and a passion for learning about the world around them. The KAS is a non-profit organization established in 1914 with the goal of promoting scientific communication and collaboration to enhance research, education, and evidence-based engagement with the public.
