ECU Health invites community feedback for Community Health Needs Assessment

ECU Health in Greenville, N.C. is seeking feedback from community members in eastern North Carolina on their current Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). This feedback is crucial for understanding the most pressing health issues affecting local communities and for improving and promoting good health in the region.

ECU Health encourages all community members aged 15 and older to participate in the CHNA survey to provide valuable feedback on how they can enhance health and well-being in eastern North Carolina. The survey is confidential and typically takes about 10 minutes to complete. Feedback received from the survey helps ensure that healthcare needs are met in the 29 counties served by ECU Health. The survey is open for responses until June 7, 2024.

The CHNA process involves collecting and analyzing data on demographics, socioeconomics, and health-related statistics. While this information is valuable, direct input from community members is crucial for gaining meaningful insights into their specific needs and concerns. The results of the completed CHNA analysis will be used to prioritize strategies aimed at meeting community health needs, ultimately improving the health and well-being of individuals in eastern North Carolina.

The survey is available in both English and Spanish on the ECU Health website at ECUHealth.org/CHNA, making it accessible to a broader range of community members who may not be fluent in English or may prefer Spanish as their primary language when providing feedback.
