Assistance for Mental Health Now Accessible for North Texans – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

The Momentous Institute is set to host a free panel and launch a tool kit to help families navigate the mental health crisis on Tuesday. Executive Director Dr. Jessica Gomez emphasizes the importance of addressing mental health, fighting stigma, and improving access to services and educational opportunities. She notes that Texas ranks last in all states for access to mental health care, highlighting the need for more work to be done in this area.

Dr. Gomez encourages elevating the conversation on mental health and emphasizes the importance of reaching out to those who may need support. She stresses the value of cultivating mental wellness and health, and invites individuals to check out the resources available through the Momentous Institute.

The Momentous Institute is also hosting a free event on April 30th at Collin College Frisco Campus at 5:30 pm where attendees will have a chance to win tickets to the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, where players will be wearing green ribbons for mental health awareness instead of their names, players and caddies will have information on how they cultivate their mental health on their bibs.
