Two Logboat Brewing Co. beers win top honors at World Beer Cup

Two distinctive brews created by Logboat Brewing Co. in Columbia have been recognized at the World Beer Cup last week. Dark Matter, a wheat porter featuring a narwhal on its label, won silver in the Brown Porter classification. This beer has an ABV of 6.6% and boasts flavors of dark chocolate and roasted coffee. Meanwhile, Mamoot, an English Mild or Bitter variety, earned bronze at the competition. Described as the relaxed little sibling to a brown ale, this beer is perfect for breakfast with its 4% ABV.

Similarly, River Bluff Brewing from St. Joseph, Missouri received an award at the event, taking home gold in the American-Belgo-Style Ale category with their Sandy Dunes ale. This Belgian-style ale is unfiltered and offers peppery and fruity flavors. The World Beer Cup Awards were presented during the CraftBrewers Conference and BrewExpo America in Las Vegas on April 24th. To see the full list of winners, visit the World Beer Cup website.
