On March 28, US Army Central Command (Centcom) reported that Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists had launched four UAVs at a US Navy warship and another coalition ship in the Red Sea. Fortunately, all drones were intercepted successfully, resulting in no damages or casualties. Centcom stated that these weapons posed an imminent threat to merchant and US Navy vessels, and actions were being taken to protect freedom of navigation and enhance the safety of international waters for these vessels.
