The Libyan Korean Centre, in collaboration with the UNDP Libya and local stakeholders, has developed five training programs aimed at creating a skilled workforce to support a sustainable, greener economy in Libya. These programs focus on energy assessment and innovative building, recycling skills, municipal waste management, environmental health and safety, and circular economy entrepreneurship. The initiative was announced on 15 April as part of UNDP’s Local Peacebuilding and Resilience efforts to support job creation for youth. It is being implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation, with support from the Republic of Korea.
