Bills ink 1-year deal with WR Quintez Cephus

The Buffalo Bills have added another player to their team following the NFL Draft by signing wide receiver Quintez Cephus to a one-year contract. Prior to joining the Bills, Cephus played for the Detroit Lions from 2020-2022, appearing in 22 games and starting in six. During his time with the Lions, he recorded 37 receptions, 568 receiving yards, and four touchdowns. His most productive season was in 2020, where he had 20 receptions for 349 yards and two touchdowns in 13 games.

Cephus stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs 202 pounds. He was originally from Macon, Georgia and brings a diverse skill set to the Bills’ receiving corps. However, Cephus was among the players suspended by the NFL last year for violating the league’s gambling policy as they were found to have placed bets during the 2022 season.

As the Bills continue to shape their roster and prepare for the upcoming season, adding Cephus provides depth and experience at the wide receiver position. Fans will undoubtedly be eager to see how he contributes to the team’s offense as they aim for success in the upcoming season.
