Providing Entertainment and Supporting Community Health and Education

The Milwaukee Bucks Foundation is kicking off its annual Foundation Week on April 1, with CBS 58 as a proud sponsor. The purpose of the week is to raise awareness and support for the Foundation’s initiatives in health and wellness and youth education. During the week, fans will have numerous opportunities to get involved, including a weeklong auction, a special broadcast auction during the game against the Washington Wizards on April 2, and Mystery Boxes prepared by Kandu Industries, a nonprofit that employs adults with disabilities in Janesville.

Executive Director Arvind Gopalratnam discussed how the proceeds from the week would be used to benefit these areas. He explained that the Foundation’s focus on health and wellness and youth education underscores their commitment to making a positive impact in the community. “We are grateful for the support of sponsors like CBS 58,” said Gopalratnam. “With their help, we can continue to provide resources and opportunities to young people in Milwaukee.”

In addition to the raffles and auctions, fans can also participate in other ways during Foundation Week. They can make donations online or by mail, attend events hosted by the Foundation, or even volunteer their time to help out with various projects. All proceeds from Foundation Week will go directly towards supporting the Foundation’s work in health and wellness and youth education.
