Jaylon Johnson and Caleb Williams addressed any misunderstandings or issues.

In March, Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson discussed his first interaction with new teammate Caleb Williams, which took place before Williams was drafted with the first overall pick. During a conversation on 670 The Score, Johnson reflected on the interview and explained that he spoke to Williams about comments he made regarding the perception of Williams having a “Hollywood” attitude.

Johnson emphasized to Williams that his comments were not meant to be taken negatively and were simply based on what he knew at the time. Through their conversation, both players were able to understand each other better and clear up any misunderstandings. Additionally, Johnson jokingly talked trash about Williams’ alma mater, USC, which was well-received by both players.

With a new contract in hand and a promising teammate in Williams, Johnson has high hopes for the future of the Bears. The team is looking forward to the possibility of having Johnson and Williams as key players who can help lead the Bears to success in the years to come.
