MLB Reveals 2026 World Baseball Classic Host Locations: Houston, Miami, and Additional Cities

In March 2026, the finals of the sixth edition of the World Baseball Classic will be held at LoanDepot Park in Miami. The tournament will also be hosted at the Tokyo Dome in Japan, Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Minute Maid Park in Houston. This marks the first time that both Miami and Houston will host WBC games.

Since its debut in 2006, the World Baseball Classic has grown in popularity among American fans. Japan has emerged victorious in three out of the five competitions, with their most recent win being a thrilling 3-2 victory over Team USA. The tournament ended on a high note when Shohei Ohtani struck out his Angels teammate Mike Trout to secure the victory.

The top four teams from each of the four pools in the 2023 tournament have already secured their spots in the 2026 competition. The remaining four spots will be determined through qualifiers scheduled for 2025. The anticipation is building for what promises to be another exciting edition of the World Baseball Classic.
