Bartlesville Slow Pitch Softball Team Readies for 6A State Tournament

The Bartlesville slow pitch softball team is preparing to take on Choctaw in the first round of the 6A State Tournament, set to begin in just a few hours. The eight-team single-elimination tournament will be held at OG&E Field at USA Hall of Fame Stadium, with the first pitch scheduled for 10:00 in the morning.

Bartlesville has been on a winning streak in recent weeks, thanks in part to the leadership of two seniors – Allie Scullawl and Chelsea Goddard. Scullawl serves as Bartlesville’s everyday pitcher, while both players have excelled at the plate. Head coach Kyle Minton praises his senior leaders for their performance on the field, emphasizing the importance of maintaining consistency as they move forward to compete in the Final 8.

Choctaw, the opposing team, boasts a record of 25-3 for the season. A victory will propel Bartlesville into the next round, where they will face the winner of Moore and Mustang at 1:00. However, a loss would mean the end of the Bruin’s season. The stakes are high as the team prepares to give it their all on the field.
