Bartlesville freshman Jay Wasemiller made a name for himself in the boy’s golf Regionals on Wednesday, shooting a team-best 76 and earning a spot in the State qualifiers next week. Despite the team’s overall finishing in 10th place, Wasemiller’s standout performance was a highlight of the day.
Lucas Wyatt and Nash Zervas also contributed to the team’s efforts, both shooting under 90. The trio represented Bartlesville well and gave their all on the course.
As a result of his impressive performance, Wasemiller will compete at the State tournament on Monday and Tuesday at Oaks Country Club in Tulsa.
