Bartlesville High School’s baseball team wrapped up their 2024 season with a tough game against Union in the 6A Regionals. Unfortunately, the Redhawks emerged victorious with a score of 6-1 in an elimination game. Despite their best efforts, the Bruins were unable to keep up with Union’s offensive might.

Throughout the game, Bartlesville fought fiercely but struggled to match Union’s scoring abilities. The Redhawks scored three runs in the third inning and added single runs throughout the game, maintaining a lead over the Bruins. Bartlesville only managed to score one run in the sixth inning, with bases loaded and one out.

Pitchers Kaden Romesburg and Grant Clark put forth a valiant effort on the mound for Bartlesville, giving their team a chance to compete. Romesburg made several crucial plays, including inducing a double play with bases loaded in the third inning. Despite their hard work, Bartlesville ultimately fell short of advancing in the Regionals.

As the season comes to an end, Bartlesville will say goodbye to five graduating seniors but looks forward to welcoming back key pitchers and underclassmen next year. The team finished the season with a record of 13-22, reflecting their dedication and determination throughout the year.
