Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces Armenia’s agreement to return 4 occupied villages.

In recent news, the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan has announced that Armenia has agreed to return four occupied villages of Azerbaijan following the 8th session of the Armenian and Azerbaijani border delimitation commissions. Aykhan Hajizadeh, the spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, confirmed that Armenia has agreed to relinquish control over these villages, which have been under their occupation since the 1990s.

However, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has stated that these four villages are not de jure in Armenian territory according to the Alma-Ata declaration.
