Locals Shut Down Kirants-Ijeva and Baghanis-Noyemberyan Segments

Residents of Baghanis in Armenia closed the Kirants-Ijeva and Baghanis-Noyemberyan sections today, according to Narek Sahakyan. The decision was made following the meeting of the border demarcation commissions of Armenia and Azerbaijan, during which official statements contradicted what Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said two days ago in their village.

During the meeting, Yerevan and Baku tentatively agreed on separate parts of the border line. The agreement is aimed at aligning the border with the legally justified inter-republic border that existed at the time of the collapse of the USSR.
