With only 30 seconds left on the clock and trailing by five points, Sawyer Lynn drilled a clutch go-ahead 3-pointer to lead the Defenders to a final score of 67-60.
The Defenders had a strong showing throughout the tournament, finishing third in Division 5 after falling short to the eventual champions in the quarterfinals.
