This week, Chaz Mootz from CCX Sports Spotlight focuses on Sacchi Deshmukh, a senior golfer at Wayzata High School. Deshmukh has been a member of the Trojans’ varsity golf team since seventh grade and has consistently been in the top six lineup. She is currently ranked second in the state by the Minnesota Golf Association and finished sixth at the class AAA state tournament last year.
Deshmukh’s achievements on the golf course are impressive, but that’s not all she excels at. She is also an accomplished violinist and an essential part of the Wayzata High School orchestra. Additionally, she excels academically and is set to further her education at the University of Texas where she plans to pursue a degree in chemical engineering.
Deshmukh’s dedication to both her athletic and academic pursuits showcases her well-rounded talents and commitment to excellence. Her achievements on the golf course, in the orchestra, and in the classroom make her a standout student-athlete at Wayzata High School.
