Zay Jones has set a visit with the Kansas City Chiefs as part of his free agency tour. He is looking to make his next move in the NFL after being cut by the Jaguars following the draft.
Jones, who is 29 years old, has had stints with several teams throughout his career, including the Raiders and Bills. Last season, he recorded just 34 catches for 321 yards due to injuries, but he had a strong showing in 2022 with 82 catches for 823 yards.
The Chiefs are in need of bolstering their wide receiver position following legal troubles faced by last year’s top receiver, Rashee Rice. To address this need, they signed Hollywood Brown as a free agent and drafted Xavier Worthy in the first round. Jones could potentially be an addition to the receiving corps for the 2024 season and further strengthen it.
