It’s now two hours after midnight and many people were caught off guard by the sudden change in weather, with cyclones moving over our area bringing strong shocks and thunder. Dunja Plačko Vršnak from DHMZ said on Good morning Croatia that this weather is appropriate for the time of year. The EMSC tweet also confirms how strong the thunder was, with many people thinking it was an earthquake. One user on EMSC reported feeling a rumbling and shaking in the northern part of Zagreb, while others left similar messages.
