Yue “Sophie” Wang of Clemson University has been appointed as the new system director for CMMI Dynamics, Handle and Systems Diagnostics at the National Science Foundation. In this function, Wang will be accountable for figuring out which investigation projects will acquire funding, providing her important influence more than investigation and education nationwide. Although Wang will be primarily based at the National Science Foundation for at least a year, she will continue to hold her position as the Warren H. Owen-Duke Power Professor at Clemson University.
