This summer, Wolves have announced the signing of Celta Vigo striker Jørgen Strand Larsen on a season-long loan. The deal includes an option for a permanent transfer if certain clauses are met, at a fee of £25 million. The Norwegian international, who has represented his country 14 times, joins Wolves after an impressive season in LaLiga where he led Celta Vigo in scoring with 13 goals.
The arrival of Larsen fills a vital position for the team, as they were in need of a strong number nine. Wolves’ sporting director Matt Hobbs expressed his satisfaction with the signing, stating that Larsen was their top target for the striker position this summer.
Larsen is the fourth addition to the Wolves squad this transfer window, joining Tommy Doyle, Pedro Lima, and Rodrigo Gomes in bolstering the team. With these new signings and their impressive performances so far this season, it looks like Wolves are well on their way to achieving their goals and challenging for trophies.
