Vinecki takes first place in aerials World Cup in Lac-Beauport, regains top spot in World Cup standings

On a rainy and cloudy day in Lac-Beauport, Canada, Winter Vinecki earned her third individual win of the season in the aerials event. Despite the challenging weather conditions, Vinecki was able to adjust her game plan and come out on top with a score that put her in sixth place. She later advanced into the super finals.

The U.S. team had a strong showing at the event, with five women and two men qualifying for the finals. Chris Lillis also had a successful performance, falling hard in the finals but avoiding injury.

Vinecki’s victory came after she performed a back lay-full-full as the only woman attempting a triple in the final round. This win marked her third individual victory and fourth overall win of the season, earning her the yellow leader’s bib.

After this successful performance, Winter Vinecki and his teammates are headed to Almaty, Kazakhstan for their final World Cup of the season on March 10th after taking some rest and training time to prepare for their final competition.
