Renowned musician cancels concerts ahead of Mass performance due to health concerns.

Country music icon Willie Nelson has been forced to cancel several upcoming performances due to a health issue. The 91-year-old musician is currently resting and recovering, and will miss the first few dates of his Outlaw Music Festival tour.

On Friday, June 21, representatives for Nelson released a statement informing fans of the situation. They assured that he is expected to make a quick recovery and will rejoin the tour next week. Nelson’s representative also confirmed that he is expected to be back on stage for his scheduled show in Virginia Beach, Virginia on June 26.

Despite the setback, fans can still look forward to seeing Nelson perform at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield on Tuesday, July 2 as part of the Outlaw Music Festival. The lineup for the festival includes other legendary artists like Bob Dylan, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, and Celisse.
