Walmart Business has been dedicated to providing solutions and services for small businesses (SMBs) over the past year. They have launched a membership offering, as well as a tailored app experience. Now, Walmart is helping SMBs prepare for holiday office celebrations by introducing their Holiday Party Shop and Employee Gift Finder solutions. These solutions aim to help businesses and nonprofits save time and money while preparing for holiday parties. To make the shopping experience more enjoyable, Walmart has partnered with TikTok star Corporate Natalie to provide advice and a curated marketplace shopping experience for holiday party needs. The Gift Finder tool also offers tailored product recommendations, allowing shoppers to sort ideas by price range, customer rating, availability, delivery speed, and brand.
Walmart believes that throwing a great party is not only an opportunity to mark the season but also fosters camaraderie and team spirit among employees. As part of their robust omnichannel infrastructure, customers can utilize same-day delivery or curbside pickup for online orders. Additionally, Walmart Pay is available for members who prefer to shop in-store, allowing them to complete their transaction using the shared payment method in the Walmart Business app.
These flexible offerings reflect Walmart’s strategic focus on creating a B2B buying experience that caters to the diverse needs of everyday shoppers while still being adapted to the specific expectations of small business owners and operators. According to Ashley Hubka, SVP and General Manager of Walmart Business, “We recognized that we had both the capabilities and the opportunity to really focus on them in a way that we had never done before. That was our strategy evolution.”
