Waggles Puppy Boutique is set to open its second location at Valley View Mall, with a $200,000 investment in a new storefront equipped with 14 kennels on the second floor. The puppies sold at this store will have an average cost of $2,000 and the company aims for a late June grand opening. Kerry Rod, the chief operating officer of Waggles, explained that their primary focus is on providing healthy and well-socialized puppies to families and assisting them in finding the perfect fit for their forever homes. With extensive experience in placing puppies and improving breeding standards in the industry, Waggles prioritizes the health and well-being of their furry clients.
The new location was previously home to Puppy Love Inc., which operated from 2008 until August 2022 when it closed suddenly. State records indicate that Puppy Love is now considered inactive. However, Rod clarified that there is no affiliation or connection between Waggles and Puppy Love despite taking over the same location.
