Vodafone Taps Marika Auramo to Lead Business Division with 5% Growth Potential in Digital Services”.

Marika Auramo has recently joined Vodafone after spending 25 years at SAP, where she was responsible for the go-to-market strategy of their product portfolio in 89 countries. She most recently held the position of chief business officer for EMEA at SAP. Auramo will now be a member of Vodafone’s Executive Committee, starting on the same date as her new role.

Vodafone’s group CEO, Margherita Della Valle, expressed her excitement about Auramo joining the team to lead the business division, which is considered a key growth driver for the company. Della Valle highlighted Auramo’s extensive B2B experience in the IT industry and looks forward to her contribution as a member of the Executive Committee.

As a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience in technology and telecommunications, Auramo brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role at Vodafone Business. She expressed her enthusiasm for working with Della Valle and the management team, stating that Vodafone Business has significant growth opportunities ahead.

Auramo noted that large corporates, SMEs, and the public sector are increasingly looking to integrate digital tools to boost growth and productivity. With Vodafone Business reporting a 5% growth in service revenue at its third quarter trading update, Auramo joins the company at a time when it is well-positioned to take advantage of the growing adoption of new digital services such as cloud, security, and IoT.
