Daylen Baldwin, a wide receiver, has been released by the Minnesota Vikings. The decision was made to create space on the 90-man roster for new undrafted rookies who will be joining the team for the upcoming rookie minicamp. Baldwin had originally joined the Vikings’ practice squad in November and later secured a future contract with the team following the regular season. He began his NFL career with the Cleveland Browns in 2022 after going undrafted.
During his time with the Browns, Baldwin spent most of his rookie year on the practice squad before being called up for one game where he caught two passes for 25 yards. With his departure from the Vikings, Baldwin will now be looking for a new opportunity in the NFL to continue his professional career. The league is highly competitive, and Baldwin will need to prove himself once again to earn a spot on another team.
