Radhika Merchant, the girlfriend of Anant Ambani, is preparing for the most anticipated and luxurious wedding in the world. The 29-year-old youngest son of Indian tycoon Mukesh Ambani will marry his girlfriend on July 12 in a three-day Hindu ceremony at Antilia, the family’s 27-story residence and the Jio World Convention Centre.
The pre-wedding festivities began in March with a fiesta attended by 1,200 guests including billionaires like Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Sunder Pichai, and Ivanka Trump. The couple hired Rihanna to perform and featured a light show with 5,500 drones. Guests wore jungle-themed clothing to visit an animal rescue center run by Anant, which houses abused, injured, and endangered animals.
An army of Indian hairdressers, makeup artists, and clothing designers were hired to help guests get ready for the celebrations. In addition to this, guests were offered 500 different dishes prepared by 100 chefs. An additional community feeding service was organized for 51,000 people living in villages near Jamnagar.
