A recent study by the Commonwealth Fund has revealed that Texas has more significant racial and ethnic health disparities compared to other states in the Southwest. Black and Hispanic individuals in Texas are at a higher risk of being uninsured, experiencing avoidable deaths, and lacking access to healthcare compared to other racial groups.
