Union-Endicott High School’s technology department awarded Program of Excellence

The Technology & Engineering Department at Union-Endicott High School recently received the New York State Technology Education & Engineering Association Program of Excellence Award. Nominated by the Southern Tier Technology & Engineering Educators Association, the department offers a range of programs including welding, automotive, flight simulation, and carpentry.

Corey Munn, an Engineering Teacher at the school, expressed his gratitude for the recognition stating, “It is an honor to be recognized by our peers for the hard work we have put into the program.” This achievement is a testament to the department’s commitment to providing students with high-quality education in technology and engineering.

As a result of this recognition, Union-Endicott High School will now be considered for the International Technology Educators & Engineering Association’s Program of Excellence Award, representing New York State in the process. With enrollment doubling over the past few years, it’s clear that the department’s dedication to excellence has paid off.
