Jalin Hyatt of the Giants Turns to Child’s Snack to Bulk Up During Offseason

NFL player Jalin Hyatt faces a unique challenge that many people would envy: he has trouble keeping weight on. Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 185 pounds, Hyatt, a receiver for the New York Giants, put in hard work during the offseason to gain weight for his second year in the NFL. In his effort to gain weight, he incorporated children’s snacks into his diet, such as Uncrustables, to supplement his meals and help with his calorie intake.

Known as a frozen, individually wrapped peanut butter and jelly sandwich, Uncrustables are popular for kids and parents. For Hyatt, he hopes that including these tasty snacks in his diet will help him build on his rookie season where he had some notable moments. Drafted in the third round out of Tennessee, Hyatt made an impact in games like setting up a touchdown against the Cardinals, contributing in a win over the Commanders, and recording his first 100-yard receiving game against the Patriots.

Looking ahead to the upcoming season, Hyatt aims to be a more consistent player for the Giants, who he believes have the potential to be a playoff team. With high expectations for himself and the team, Hyatt is focused on achieving their goal of making it to the playoffs and is determined to contribute in a significant way.
