Unai Emery insists he has no regrets more than Aston Villa’s January transfer organization in spite of preparing for a further Premier League game with a man down.
Villa will name just eight substitutes in the squad for tomorrow’s clash with Bournemouth for the third game operating, Emery has confirmed.

“We only added players considering to strengthen the squad or the group but we had been not in a hurry.
“We didn’t want to add a person who would not strengthen the squad, so tomorrow, yes we have 16 players and 3 goalkeepers. It is sufficient.”
Villa signed Alex Moreno and Jhon Duran in January right after the cancellation of Ludwig Augustinsson’s loan and Danny Ings’ exit to West Ham United.

Emery wanted a new winger and striker as a priority and also looked at midfield possibilities but was pleased to wait till the summer time when it became clear that major targets had been not obtainable.
To increase the numbers till the finish of the season, Villa recalled Bertrand Traore from a loan spell at Istanbul Basaksehir and the winger got his initially minutes beneath the manager in the 1-1 draw at West Ham final weekend.
“We did 3 players (Moreno, Duran, Traore) in January and I am pleased,” he continued.

“But it is not required for the duration of this moment, not but.”
