Two World Records Broken: Charlton Sets New 60m Hurdles Record, Jepchirchir Breaks Women’s Marathon Mark

In a recent development, World Athletics has ratified two women’s world records. Firstly, Devynne Charlton from the Bahamas set a new indoor 60m hurdles record of 7.65 seconds at the Glasgow World Indoor Championships on March 3rd, 2024. This record-breaking performance earned her the global title and left her feeling proud of her achievement. Charlton had previously shared the world record with Tia Jones from the United States. Jepchirchir managed to achieve this feat, finishing ahead of her competitors to claim the world record.
