Maurice Demond Davis was found guilty of shooting and killing MiKayce Parker during an argument at a Tuskegee business. The Macon County jury deliberated for just 53 minutes before reaching its verdict. Davis, who has a history of prior felonies, is now facing sentencing on May 9. The prosecution is seeking to have him sentenced as a habitual offender.
