The Mobile Police Department has identified the victim in the homicide that occurred outside of Academy Sports + Outdoors on Independence Day. The victim was 22-year-old DeShaun Bonner, who was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds and later passed away.
Mobile police are currently investigating the shooting of DeShaun Bonner and have not yet named any suspects. The incident took place around 4 p.m. on Thursday afternoon outside of Academy Sports + Outdoors in the Festival Centre.
