There is currently an urgent need for blood donors, and in response to this need, the Chickasaw Nation, Seminole Nation, Choctaw Nation, and Muscogee Nation have joined forces with the Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) in the Tribal Blood Drive Challenge.
To facilitate the donation process, various upcoming events and locations have been scheduled. On September 18, from noon to 4 p.m., individuals can donate blood at the Chickasaw Nation Health Clinic in Tishomingo.
As a way to show appreciation for donors, they will receive a themed T-shirt. Additionally, they will also receive a coupon for 50% off any 20-ounce shake, which can be redeemed at Tushka Fit, Ada Wellness Center, or The Hub Bistro located in the Carl Albert Service Center.
