Boosting Our Economy: The Impact of Local Dive Retail on Driving Growth

At Local Dive Retail, located on Cherokee Boulevard in Chattanooga, you’ll find a unique selection of mid-century furniture, retro housewares, clothes, shoes, and handmade items. Andie Bost, one of the owners, emphasizes that all items are unique and affordable, with nothing collecting dust in the store. They rent vendor booths to individuals who come in, set up their items, price them and make the space their own. The customization includes framing, lighting and everything is available for purchase.

Jack Tatum, another owner at Local Dive Retail also shares that they have independent vendors selling clothes and they restock new items a couple of times a month to keep customers interested. This setup allows them to make passive income while people shop in the store. The process of shopping for items to resell and seeing customers delighted by the products brings joy to the owners.

Local Dive Retail is part of the Northshore vintage market which includes 25 vendors selling unique items such as clothing, jewelry and home decor. Food trucks are also present at the market along with bands playing music creating an exciting atmosphere for shoppers. The warehouse DJ sets the perfect soundtrack for the entire event. The store is conveniently located at 607 Cherokee Boulevard right behind Ziggy’s Bar and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m on Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m
