In Stafford, three juveniles were arrested for a series of burglaries that took place at various businesses in the county last year. According to Ryan Wilbur, spokesperson for the Sheriff’s office, one of the suspects, a 17-year-old boy, was apprehended earlier this month. The two other suspects, ages 16 and 17, had been arrested previously and were placed in Rappahannock Juvenile Detention Center.
The burglary spree began on November 9 at Nara Thai Cuisine and Stafford Tobacco and Vape Shop on Garrisonville Road in North Stafford. During these thefts, cash, wine, and vapes were stolen. On December 8th, the vape shop was once again burglarized along with Shaz Unique Studio Salon on the same road. Vapes, cash, and a laptop were taken during these heists. Two days later on Deacon Road in southern Stafford’s Discount Tobacco and Vape store was broken into.
Deputies who were in the area were able to arrest one of the suspects at that time using surveillance camera footage to identify them. All three teens are now facing multiple charges including breaking and entering grand larceny destruction of property and conspiracy.
